Helping a traditional French heritage brand develop customer engagement
People’s airport experiences visually immortalized by the artist Castelbajac.
Following the success of the 2014 #IAMTHEGUEST marketing campaign, in 2015 Orly international airport decided to develop the concept further by visually immortalising passengers’ most interesting travel stories through a series of crayon pictures created by the French fashion designer Castelbajac.
This time, airport passengers where asked to write about their personal travel experiences during their time at airport to create interesting “departure lounge stories” that were then posted on the web sites welcomestories.adp.fr or hashtag #welcomestories. The artist then selected 100 of the most creatively inspiring stories in order to create a giant 3000m2 fresco that was displayed on the airport’s South Terminal facade for a year and a half.
